In Memory of Rolly (The Cuddly) (Passed away on 27th September, 2006) He was 9 years old when he passed away from cancer. Rolly was very loved and will be greatly missed. Rolly was rescued from the Lost Dogs Home. He had been very well looked after and was 37% overweight. When he came home he jumped straight on the couch and went to sleep. He woke up at dinner time, ate and then went to bed. The next morning he went out the front, grabbed the newspaper and brought it in. However, the first time we went for a (short) walk, he arrived back home, collapsed in the kitchen and slept for eight hours. Rolly had a good life and lived to be 9 years old. He loved to eat - especially cheese and bones. He learnt very quickly to jump up and pick the apples off the tree. As a result, the household never got many apples when they were in season. He loved to have his head and bottom scratched and always had a wagging tail and a friendly greeting. He had a gentle nature and was instantly loved by all those who met him (especially the girls). |
